RVL Group

Strategic co-ordination of commercially driven marketing and communications.

Co-ordinating a commercially focussed, joined-up marketing and communications strategy across RVL Group’s external and internal audiences.


With a fleet of more than 20 aircraft, maintained and operated directly out of East Midlands Airport, RVL Group provides a diverse range of specialist aviation services that include aerial surveillance, chartered flights, aircraft modification and aerial spraying of pollution dispersants to clients across the UK.  

To help maximise opportunities in both commercial and private sectors, RVL Group required an overarching marketing strategy that would increase brand awareness and help generate new business.


Although RVL Group did not have marketing resources internally, the company did comprise of a passionate team with a wealth of industry expertise with whom Carmichael Collective was able to collaborate in developing a clear, definitive overarching strategy built around industry/competitor insights and key marketing objectives.


Upon delivery of a clear-thinking strategy, Carmichael Collective was subsequently appointed to implement recommended marketing activities on an ongoing basis, with Murray now positioned as the company’s outsourced Marketing Director.

Carmichael Collective continues to support RVL in the effective deployment of its overarching marketing strategy, providing strategically co-ordinated PR, engaging content and ad hoc advertising; elegantly joined-up to improve customer-facing communications, as well as internal updates/developments.
